Kamala Harris is ‘dabbling’ in veganism by eating plant-based meals before 6PM each day, according to a vegan eatery Harris recently visited.
The Vice President was pictured during a stop at popular vegan taco restaurant, Tacotarian.
During her visit, Harris told staff that she is exploring more plant-based foods by trying to stick to a vegan diet at least before 6PM.
The Vegas-based Tacotarian was recommended to Harris by the vegan Senator Cory Booker, who has been a longtime advocate of the health and environmental benefits of switching animal products with plant protein.
And Harris isn’t the only prominent U.S. politician trying to eat more plants: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez announced last month that she has gone meat-free for the forty days of Lent. The Congresswoman took to Twitter to ask for veggie recipes and encourage her 12.4 million followers to join her in going veggie.
